LAKE SALT

In Pakistan, lake salt is attainable in exceptional quality and sufficient quantities. It is challenging for manufacturers to extract the salt from the lakes due to the difficult routes, but with advancements and the development of infrastructure in Pakistan, extraction has become much easier. We have a capacity of more than 10,000 acres of solar salt. This facility consists of 10,000 acres of salt lakes situated in Tharparkar, Sindh, where we harvest the best quality salt from 25 different salt lakes. Our salt harvesting capacity is about 5,000 tons per day. Swan Food Salt has also established a controlled salt crystallization facility in one of our lakes. This state-of-the-art facility produces high purity salt, directly suitable for both food and industrial applications. All salt lakes are well connected with carpeted roads, specially designed to handle the cargo of bulk vessels.
